Summary
The Judge of the Parish Court has the power to make a wide variety of orders regarding matters before
    
Jurisdiction Act. Particular statutes make provision for orders that the Judge of the Parish Courts can make.
The prosecution and the defence must both comply with the orders of the Court. The Court's orders are not

position to the Judge of the Parish Court. The accused himself or other parties in the matter can also advise
the Court. Therefore, the Clerk of the Courts must ensure that all parties understand the need to comply with
court orders. In most cases it is prudent for formal communication of the Court's orders.
