Civil Procedure-execution-inquiry into means

There is no rule in the Cayman Islands requiring that leave be obtained before the issue of a judgment summons for inquiring into debtors means. There is no valid analogy with the rules relating to the issue of execution (for which leave is required if more than six years have elapsed from the date of judgment) since an order pursuant to a judgment summons can only be made after a full investigation by a court.
