Kenny D. Anthony is the Prime Minister of St Lucia.

Rose-Marie Belle Antoine is Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of the

LLM programme at the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies (Cave-

Hill). She serves as legal consultant to several governments as well as to regional

and international organisations.

Barbara Bailey is Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies (Mona)

and Regional Coordinator of the Centre for Gender and Development Studies.

She represents the Government of Jamaica on the Consultative Committee

of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) and is a

member of a Task Force on Gender Mainstreaming established by CARICOM.

Simon Best is Research Associate at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social

and Economic Research at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill.

Clement Branche is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social

Work at the University of the West Indies (Mona).
